Pirates visit Astros for game 1of 3

The Pirates start a three game series against the Houston Astros tonight at 8:05 and try to put an end to their three game losing streak and end the Astros's winning streak at 2. Josh Fogg and Andy Pettitte both are trying to even out their 1-2 records, Fogg having missed his last two starts due to an ear infection and currently with an ERA of 2.45.

Houston while horrible on the road with only one win is 9-3 at home thus far this season and the Pirates are hoping for a reversal of the offensive slump that they were in for most of April. Here is hoping that May brings more then just flowers to the Bucos fortunes.
