Packing them in.

This past weekend the Pirates had over 90,000 in attendance for the 3 games against Colorado. While it was mostly due to Fireworks on Friday and Oliver Perez Bobbleheads on Saturday, they did also manage to get over 20,000 to show up for Sunday's game, traditionally a day that they average somewhere in the mid teens. Another Promising sign was that on Saturday people while getting their bobbles actually stayed around for the game, not the usual "its a sell out but you can see there are 8,000 empty seats" that the promotion games have been lately.

Is this a sign of good things to come crowd-wise if they stay fairly competitive and hovering in the 2nd to 4th place area in the standings? Let’s hope so!
