The Altoona Curve are holding a "Name the Team" contest to name the A-Short Season team that they will own and run in State College PA starting in 2006.

The Awesomes!
I was going to say the "Flaming Pesants" Then you could have TROGDOR on the scoreboard!
And then when they hit a home run Trogdor could set a Pesant aflame!
BURNINATE!
I love it.
Instead of "free the sheep"
And like the party deck could be made to look like a thatch roof cottage!
And the ballcaps could have a ring of fire design around the top so they look like the players heads are afire, just like a pesant.
